NATURAL LATEX 4" MATTRESS
This is a budget alternative to our standard 6" Natural Latex Mattress. It is a 4" core of natural latex (absolutely no synthetics, no chemicals) wrapped in Pure Grow Wool and Organic cotton quilted outer. It finishes out at about 5 1/2". The wool is our natural flame retardent. There is no boric acid or chemical flame retardents added. This mattress works great for kids or adults either on a budget or who don't mind a less decadent mattress. My 14-year-old son (who is 6') has this in his room and loves it. This can be made in custom sizes to fit motorhomes, campers, etc. A very nice option at a very good price.
***We recomended a wool puddle pad as moisture protection for these mattresses.
** Another bonus to this mattress as an option for children is the twin size can be rolled up and shrinkwrapped and shipped UPS (instead of freight company) which saves $$$ in ship costs. It makes an affordable organic option....

My First Big Bed by PureRest
PureRest's twin economical natural 4" rubber(31 ILD) core is wrapped in organic wool moisture pad fabric for a mattress for children. There is no cotton batting, just the wool outer. A great first twin size mattress for kids. With the moisture pad outer, you are protecting your mattress from wetness (we do recommend an organic cotton mattress pad that can be washed regularly for leaks, spills, sweating, etc.) As your child grows you have the option to add a 2" latex mattress topper to use this mattress into adulthood.

Super Budget 2" Latex Mattress/Futon
This is a mattress/futon constructed with 2" natural latex then wrapped in Pure Grow Wool and organic cotton and quilted to an organic cotton outer. Just like the 4" version, but with less latex and more cotton and wool batting. Over time, the cotton/wool will compress. It comes to about 4 1/2" when finished and is actually quite comfortable. I usually recomend the 4" latex whenever it can be afforded, but I would sleep on this one over a toxic mattress anyday. Not recomended for larger adults. This mattress works better with slats that are closer together (2") or a solid wood platform.

Simple Twin Bedframe
This zen style maple bedframe is made from FSC Certified wood. It comes unfinished so you can paint it any color (check out our Real Milk Paints which work beautifully over unfinished wood, no primer needed) or use your own non-toxic wood finish, or just leave it natural. Made from all solid wood with solid wood slat roll. Perfect bed for a child and goes quite nicely with our budget latex options.
