Vivetique Manufacturers Warranty for Mattresses and Foundations

Below are the details of the Vivetique's manufacturers warranty for its organic mattresses and foundations. Please note that we have rarely found problems with these handcrafted organic mattresses and most people absolutely fall in love with them.

10 Year Manufacturer's Warranty

All organic cotton/wool mattresses come with a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty. The warranty period begins from the time of delivery to the customer. The warranty covers both the mattress and the foundation.

Mattress Exchange Policy

We offer a 30-day comfort exchange policy for our mattresses and sets. You can exchange the mattress for a different one from Vivetique anytime within that 30-day window. However, you are responsible for the difference in price (if any) and all round trip shipping costs to Vivetique's factory in Arcadia, California, near Los Angeles. Unfortunately, Organic Grace cannot refund the purchase price, since bedding and mattresses are not resalable by law once they are purchased. This is a federal law of the United States.

Mattress Warranty Terms

The manufacturer’s warranty covers spring or core failure and workmanship. In such a case, your Vivetique mattress and/or box spring will be repaired or replaced, at Vivetique's option. Once again, transportation cost is the responsibility of the purchaser and warranty is F.O.B., Arcadia, California.

The first year, the warranty covers 100% of purchase price. After the first year, the purchase price is prorated over the expected life of the mattress or box spring. The customer is responsible for shipping costs to and from Vivetique for any repairs any time after purchase.

• The warranty does not cover the user’s allergies to materials used in the construction of the mattresses and foundations.
• The warranty is non-transferable, that is, it applies only to the orginal purchaser.
• The orginal receipt must be presented when claiming benefits from the warranty, so please hold on to it for the life of the warranty.

Conditions under which the warranty is void

• If the mattress is used with any box spring other than one made by Vivetique, or if no box spring is used at all (excludes the latex mattress as it does not require a box spring during its lifetime)
• If there is any indication that the mattress has been folded or bent
• If the box spring is not properly supported
• If signs of abuse, improper care or maintenance are apparent (i.e. stains, soils, burns, compaction due to insufficient turning, etc.)

Excluded from the warranty:

• The mattress cover fabric.
• The mattress handles sewn to the mattress sides.
• An incorrect choice of the firmness of the mattress that is determined after the 30-day exchange policy expires. If you choose a mattress that is too hard, that problem can be solved by adding one or more of the variety of organic mattress toppers that we also sell.
• Sensitivity to materials used in the construction of the mattress (like allergies).

Under normal use, slight body impressions and changes in the support and characteristics may appear. These changes are normal and do not indicate any type of structural failure.

Organic cotton mattresses, latex mattresses and foundations may need to be aired out prior to use, due to the natural cotton scent of our untreated cotton and the natural scent of latex in those mattresses containing latex components.
